What Does Work: Learning From a Morgan Stanley Conference
One of the first things you notice about a Morgan Stanley conference is the personal attention. That it gets from one of its organizers. At this particular conference, I was not the only one who was impressed with this. The thing that I found interesting about the Morgan Stanley conference. Was that I got to see all kinds of programs that would help me understand and improve my own life.
For one, most of these conferences are very interactive. That’s why they have sessions on personal development, leadership, coaching, mentoring, and company programs. These types of sessions are essential for building trust and communication among team members.
Most people in these programs know that the organization’s needs and goals are shared by its leaders. They also know how to communicate these needs and goals clearly. And, since these executives hold themselves and their companies accountable for meeting these needs and goals, these teams begin to listen to one another more.
Real Time Reporting
There’s an issue that came up in my life as we were walking around the conference site and it was related to what I call, “real time reporting.” These reports are on-screen but can be emailed to your desk voice. You see something on your screen, but if you cannot immediately act on it, you don’t see it.
For example, I saw someone looking at their computer screen, working away, and sent her a report. And, she looked back at me and said, “Ah, I didn’t know I had a report that was due. How does work works?”
I don’t know how it works, but one thing that I knew about. This Morgan Stanley Conference was that this report did not appear in her inbox for her to see. So, even though she saw itin her computer. It was not in front of her eyes the moment she got off the plane. And, she would not be able to react to it until the next day.
So, I re-read it the next day. This time, I saw it the moment she finished reading it. She actually reacted with her body language. And, I think she was even more impressed because she saw the benefits of what I was talking about.
Do you know the benefits of what I’m talking about? It helps you keep your eye on the ball because you can easily see how your organization’s needs. And goals match up with your organization’s needs and goals of number. And, in turn, you can implement these ideas without feeling overwhelmed. Or that you are not really understanding the plan or the goals of your company.
Tools of organization
At this particular conference, I found out that another one of the benefits of this great and excellent leadership program was that they also gave us tools that helped us to make decisions quickly and easy. Those are the tools that are needed in order to take your organization and yourself to the next level.
Last, the conference is a low stress environment where everyone was comfortable dialer. And, this is important because, if you’re not relaxed, you will find it hard to get the best out of yourself.
Being stressed out will drain your energy and cause you to miss out on some of the most important things in life, such as opportunities and positive attitude. Most importantly, the conference provided me with a team of people who were willing to share their knowledge with me and help me to improve my own life.
In short, I learned a lot from this Morgan Stanley Conference. Now, I look forward to attending future conferences.
